Baz

I have recently visited a handsome piebald gelding. He was kept on a very busy yard but he managed to focus and switch off from all the comings and goings. To start with Baz was not sure about my energy and chose to move away from me. I sent healing from a distance and told him it was ok and that I would not hurt him. After a short while he was happy for me to touch his shoulder. I gently stroked him and asked for permission to connect.
Baz held tension in his left shoulder which was making him stiff on the right rein so I worked on this area first. As I did this he showed me a picture of a happy. He was out with other youngsters and life was fun. He licked and chewed and relaxed into the healing. We then went to another event which at first I thought was an auction. But realised it was similar in the way everyone stood around watching him and then the word graded came to me. I told his owner about this. He hated everything to do with it from the man holding his rein tight. The men watching it was all very aggressive and I told his owner that he is still uncomfortable around men and much prefers the energy of a women.
Baz then showed me a long journey and this has put him of travelling. Baz needs to be told where he is going and for what reason and that his mum will be with him. He is very insecure and worried that he will be sent away. I felt over his body and his joints are in amazing condition I could not pick up any heat at all. As I carried on healing him through his anxiety he became relaxed and licked and chewed, the birds in his stable were singing to us and all of a sudden a treat ball fell from the rafters up above and landed on his back. We all jumped ten feet but Baz was so relaxed he didn't really notice and his owner could not believe that he had not reacted.
As I placed my hands on his back I could see that at some point his saddle has been to tight and the rider was very aggressive. It had all been done to quickly. There had been no time for understanding. This had caused Baz stress it had been to much for his head to cope with. I told his owner about this and continued to see a larger lady riding him. Baz did not like it she was to heavy in the hand, pulling and pulling and no asking or understanding. Baz needs to find an outline and not be pulled into one, he needs to gain confidence in all that he can do.
I then placed my hands on his pelvis I told his owner that he had bucked her off and he was sorry. They needed to trust each other, he wanted to go hacking and for her to relax and enjoy the speed! He then told me how stressed his owner is and that she doesn't sleep and I should talk to her about the breathing!. He then showed me a beautiful picture of a beach.
It was a very interesting healing and at the end his owner told me about his life. He had been born in Ireland and turned out with youngsters to grow. He had been kept entire and so would have been graded. The vet had confirmed that he is a fantastic horse and his joints are totally sound. It appears that he had a cyst on his eye and was backed very quickly. Baz was then shipped over to the uk to be sold. Jill had brought him and had started a journey with an anxious youngster and a nervous owner. She had let a lady at the yard ride him she was quite large and she could see that Baz was not happy and had not let it happen again. Baz did buck her off when she first got him and she is trying to rebuild her confidence with him. Jill laughed and confirmed that she is very stressed and finds it difficult to sleep so I talked her through a breathing technique which may help. Finally Jill confirmed that Baz does not like men!
Jill has a wonderful horse and slowly they are getting it together and Baz has a lovely home for life. The healing will help Baz to let go of the past and move forward into the future. www.horsesvoice.co.uk
