What does your horse want from you?
Yesterday I posted "Putting your life aside what would your horse most want from you at this moment." There were many replies from grooming, feeding, riding, time, or just being. As I read the many comments these words came through; " Lots of different comments many including food which is the start of the day for many. But after the food where does your day take you. Grooming using brushes perhaps tied up, or perhaps you stroking with your hand and really feeling your horse. Letting them move and take you to the places that they want you to feel. To perhaps groom you back, to stand with you and for your breath to become one as everything drifts away and you become in rhythm with each other. To perhaps go for a walk and let them lead you to the hedge and see what they forage for. To walk together with each of your steps in tune with each other. To sit a while and find that beautiful place of peace where 2 become one. To place your hand on their shoulder to feel a connection like no other you have felt before. Your horses eyes become soft and blink before half closing with their head lowering with peace and total connection. Finding that place of just being that place where nothing else matters. Doing what feels right not what you feel you are meant to do.........
