Philly

my beautiful Philly who kept me on the outside for a long 15 months. Philly came to me as her guardians lives had changed. With a loss of grazing and a baby on the way they decided it would be kinder to find a safe loving loan home for her. At the time I had decided to take in another horse to add to my haling herd and Philly came home to join us.The transition was not easy for her, the first day with me she had stress colic. Philly was traumatised and very depressed. The others gradually started to accept Philly but I felt that with me she kept me on the outside looking in. I explained to her why there had been the need to change homes and her people visited. We bumbled along together but all the time I felt Philly was not ready for the deep healing that needed to happen.15 months further on one day I walked into her stable and something told me the time was right. I decided to record the healing so I could study Philly's reactions. What happened was amazing, she opened the door and gave herself to me. The heart connection was breath taking and I knew she was ready to let go of the past.Since this healing Philly has been totally different, welcoming, loving and open. She has been embracing the healing workshops guiding people and letting them feel the connection.Philly came to me as a straight forward horse, there were no problems.
