TRUST

Some times horses need more than one healing, Tonto was one of these horses. The first time I met Tonto there was a lot going on at the yard. He found it hard to relax and trust the healing but he could not let himself shine as he was on edge. On our second visit the yard was quiet and his energy completely different. He recognised my energy but was not totally welcoming at first.Tonto hadn't had the best start in life, he came from tough people and during his early life had been very frightened. He had learnt not to trust people, on my first visit he showed me pictures of himself hiding behind any big horse that he could find. Tonto wanted to disappear the people had frightened him and his life had not been happy. He has come along way with his new family but is still on edge. On my second visit I wanted to find the real Tonto so I took hold of the rope and offered healing to him. At first he kept moving and stamping his leg, he was looking for me to use higher energy but I didn't.  Instead I switched off from all around me and became a horse. My energy changed, I licked and chewed and blew through my nose until he turned a confused eye on me. We stood like this for a while and then he started to sniff my hand which was sending healing. As I licked and chewed so did he and it was like a light had gone on! He then started connecting with my hand rubbing his head up and down on me and enjoying the feeling of my energy and the lovely scratch that I was giving him. I took my hands down his body and legs all the time breathing with him and doing my impression of a horse. We had a lovely time and his cheeky personality started to shine, by the end of the session I was a trusted friend.During my years of healing the horses have taught me new ways. Ways that I can communicate in their language with energy and actions. When a horse licks and chews I lick and chew back it is amazing how they change. We become very tunnel visioned in the word communication. It is not all words it involves body actions, energy you must be open to everything and ready to embrace it. By licking and chewing with Tonto I became submissive with him, I became a friend. This enabled him to lower his energy and start to trust me. When he felt we were communicating openly he allowed me to give healing and the trust flowed. It is a beautiful experience when you can communicate in their language the bond becomes amazing.As I came back to being me his Mum was smiling and said she had never seen him behave like that before. Her and her son could scratch his head but no one else.I gave Tonto masses of healing as I was scratching and touching him and now he needs to keep on shining as he is in a safe place and doesn't need to hide behind the others any morexxx
