What does your horse want from you?
Yesterday I posted “Putting your life aside what would your horse most want from you at this moment.” There were many replies from grooming, feeding, riding, time, or just being. As I read the many comments these words came through
Mindfulness
More and more during my healing sessions I am having to help the horse still the mind. A busy mind can bring about a change in behaviour even illness. The same as us if you can not switch off the head then you are ungrounded.
Letting go
Grief, horses are so like us in their emotions. When a horse looses a friend they also loose a family member. Think about how this would effect you, would you like someone pushing you to do things? Or someone giving you time and understanding and unconditional love.
Being true to yourself
Are you being true to yourself? Are you showing your true feelings? Are you pretending all is ok when actually all is in turmoil?
Not being your true self can stop your horse from connecting with you. It can cause them to hold back from showing their true feelings.
